                HALESOWEN TOWN FC
Founded in 1873, Halesowen Town FC is one of England's oldest football clubs. Affectionately known as The Yeltz, we compete in the Southern League Central Premier Division (Step 3 of non-league football) for the 2023/24 season.
Our home, The Grove Recreation Ground, has been central to the club’s story since the 1880s. Once shared with the local cricket club and bordered by a historic button factory, The Grove has seen continuous evolution over the decades. From the construction of the iconic Shed in 1950 to the addition of the 420-seat Harry Rudge Stand in 1987, the ground has grown alongside the club.
Recent improvements include modern dressing rooms, the James Grove Lounge for fans and events, and upgraded LED floodlights installed in 2023. With a capacity of 3,150, The Grove blends rich history with modern facilities, creating an atmosphere that’s second to none.
